Cheryl has twenty years of experience writing:

• copy that sells products.
• publications of all sorts.
• articles for Miniature Collector magazine.

Over the years, Cheryl has photographed:

• miniature collections for Miniature Collector magazine.
• items for sale at Miniatures from the Attic to be used on their Website.
• people and places to be used in conjunction with other writings.

Cheryl has been doing layout and design since college (she graduated in 1972).

• She completed George Washington University's one-year Editing and Publications program at the top of her class.
• She designed newsletters and other publications for trade associations for ten years.
• She excelled in layout and design in her Website Content Development Program at the University of Virginia.
• She designed striking websites for a miniatures shop, a sculptor, and a baker.

Cheryl has studied for several years to perfect her knowledge of web-design software and coding. She is proficient in:

• HTML, the basic language of websites.
• FrontPage: web-design software
• Dreamweaver: web-design software
• Photoshop: software that adapts slides and photos for use on websites
• Fireworks: a graphics program for website development
• Epson Twain: a program that scans slides and photographs

In addition, she knows how to obtain services for programs with which she is not familiar. If she doesn't know how to perform a particular skill, she will find someone who does.

Cheryl has designed four websites for herself:

• Cheryl Miller Web Design
  (this site) for her website design business.
• French Country Dollhouse to let the world see her dollhouse.

• Miniatures Museum  to show the world her miniatures.

• Vermeer Painting 'Girl with a Pearl Earring' to describe a very special miniature that she created.

She has designed three websites for artisans and groups:

• Elle Piccolo Dolls for a creator of "little people," miniature dolls in 1" to 1' scale.
• We Love Lundby Club for a group collecting Swedish dollhouses and furniture.
• Wacky Face Productions for a crafter who designs and produces ceramic tiles.
